Below are where the auction houses are located in Japan. Typically over 70% of the total cars going to auction are in the green, purple and red regions on the map. The main auction cities being Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.

Tips
We usually find that because of the climate in Japan, buying cars from auction houses in the far north are often very rusty. Therefore cars in Sapporo often sell for cheaper than lower parts of the country.

Some Auction houses are known to be alot stricter than others on grading their vehicles. As a guide, any car from TAA or Honda auction houses should be considered atleast a grade higher than what they are classified as. For example if a car is a TAA grade 3.5, it would be the equivalant to a grade 4.0 or even a 4.5 in some cases at other auction houses!
